Health in Mind
Health in Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland, delivering a unique mix of services and working in partnership with others. Health in Mind provides self help guidance, support, respite and befriending services, as well as day services and counselling/talking therapies – face to face and on the telephone.
CAPS Independent Advocacy
CAPS is an independent advocacy organisation for people who use or have used mental health services. They are completely independent from the people who fund us and those who provide other services to the people we work with. They provide individual and collective advocacy in East Lothian and Midlothian. CAPS also host several experience-led projects across Lothian.
See Me
See Me is Scotland's Programme to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination. They are funded by Scottish Government and Comic Relief and are managed by SAMH and The Mental Health Foundation.
Ed Space
Ed Space provides an online service to signpost people to appropriate mental health services in Edinburgh, to enable people to make informed choices in their treatment and care, inform people of factors influencing positive mental health and wellbeing and enable people to access services and information which may be of benefit to them or someone they know.
Changes – Community Health Project
CHANGES is a Community Health Project, established in 1996 to promote the positive well-being of people living in East Lothian.
They provide supportive opportunities (course, counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy) towards healthier and less stressful living, for those with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
Number 6 is the one-stop shop for autistic adults. It provides free social opportunities and 1:1 advice and support on a range of issues.
