Representing and supporting students is at the heart of what we do at the Students’ Union. We aim to ensure that our students have the best student experience they can at QMU and that their views are heard by the University. The way we do this is to elect students as Officers every year to represent the wider student body.

If you’re currently studying at QMU, you are eligible to run for an elected post in the next Student Elections. It doesn’t matter what you’re studying or what experience you have. The successful candidates will take up their posts as Student Officers for the academic year 2025/26. If you’re elected, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance the student experience at QMU, gain new skills, boost your CV and meet new people.
