The Student Teaching and Representation (STaR) Awards recognise students and staff who made a difference to the student experience. 

Nominations for the awards will be open from the 2nd of February 2026 until the 2nd of March at 12pm and you will be able to find them in the dropdown menu on the left.

Winners will be announced on the 31st of March 2026 at 5pm in The Halle, with a drinks reception to follow. 

 

Staff Awards: 

• PAT of the Year
• Support Staff of the Year
• Research Staff of the Year
• Module / Programme of the year
• Excellence in Teaching
• Outstanding Commitment to Academic Inclusivity
• The Douglas Award (Most Inspirational Staff member within the School of Health Science)
• The Jamie Hayes Award (Most Inspirational Staff member within the School of Arts, Social Science and Management)

• Class Rep of the Year
• Officer of the Year
• Student Volunteer of the Year (Excluding Reps & Officers)
• Above and Beyond
