QMU Men's Basketball Club

The QMU Men's Basketball Club welcomes players of all skill levels, from those with competitive experience to those who simply want to play socially. We are committed to building an inclusive, motivating, and encouraging atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable stepping onto the court. Whether you're looking to significantly develop your game, compete at a higher level, or just enjoy a friendly game with peers, you'll find your place here!

The club has a proud record of success, demonstrating our dedication and competitive spirit in university sport:

• 2018-2019: BUCS D1 League Winners

• 2017-2018: BUCS D2 League Winners

• 2016-2017: BUCS D3 League Winners

• 2015-2016: BUCS 4A League Winners

• 2018-2019: BUCS Men's National Trophy Finalists

  • Scottish Conference Cup Champions

  • QMU Sports Team of the Year

We just started the club again this year, and are currently focusing on organising friendly fixtures and aim to start competing against other university teams next year to continue building on this winning tradition.

 

📅 Training Schedule

All sessions are held in the QMU Sports Hall on Wednesdays:

• Wednesdays 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Casual/Social Session (Open to all members for fun and practice)

• Wednesdays 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Competitive Team Practice (Focused training for team members preparing for fixtures)
