Dive into Drama Society's pantomime this year, our own twist on the classic tale The Little Mermaid!
Kind-hearted Princess Muriel lives in the most wonderful, beautiful, tropical, exquisite part of the ocean itself... Musselburgh Harbour. She longs to visit the land above to discover more about the people there and find out why they keep polluting her beloved sea, but is forbidden to by her parents. Desperate to see the surface, she makes a deal with the dastardly sea witch Scylla - she may visit the land in exchange for her voice, which can only be regained with a true love's kiss. Luckily, she befriends (and slowly falls for) Prince Dave, the son of the King and Queen of Oil - the perfect match to discover what she needs to know about the humans and find true love! Will Muriel and Dave find their happily ever afters, or will Scylla's nefarious scheming condemn them both?
This performance runs at 1 hour 50 minutes, including a 10-minute interval.
